If the vents of your house cannot provide enough oxygen for combustion in the house, then the burning gas produces soot. A combination of soot and corrosive chlorides accelerates the shedding of your chimney walls. 

Now by checking your chimney and engaging a professional cleaner, what you get is a more efficient fires that can allow for the flow of flue gas out of the house and allowing you to breathe less toxic air. Italian born Harry Bertoia was a sculptor and jewelry designer. Later he became involved in furniture designing. His skill and experience in sculpture and jewelry designing had a great influence in his furniture making. He had brought the new idea of making chairs with welded metal wires. This model of chairs acclaimed wide popularity and brought him fame and recognition as one of the noted furniture designers in the world in the last century. In the history of contemporary furniture, these chairs are known as Bertoia Chair.

When he was 15 years old, he traveled to USA and studied in Cass Technical High School where he learnt the art of jewelry designing, especially handmade jewelry. Then he attended Detroit Society of Arts and Crafts, which was renamed as College of Creative Studies later. In 1939 he had started his own workshop, he had quite a number of apprentices to whom he taught the art of metal and jewelry designing. His designs were priceless; he was also entrusted to design wedding rings for famous celebrities. But the chairs bearing his name made him famous worldwide.
