Facets of Indian Poetry
All countries of the world have some of their own legends in the field of arts. They may be language specific or might be renowned in general. India is also a country who has excelled in all fields of arts. They have already been doing a great job in performing arts but their contribution in other fields like painting and poetry is also exceptional.
They have a history with poetry and its sub forms. In the very early part there was amir khusro who have done an enormous job to bring these arts among the general people. Then there is a continuous increase in the number of poets it has. The diversity was great for the poets it has as starting from Khosro, kabir, Khwaja mir dard, Zafar, Mirza Ghalib etc , all of them were having their own style of writing and expressing. Many of these poets have performed undisputedly well when it comes to Urdu poetry Like Mir Dard , Zafar and Ghalib as well , has done exceptional work in promoting the Urdu poetry. It is actually the quality of their work that has made them renowned.
However, many Hindi poets have also put their contribution in promoting the Hindi poetry like Munshi prem chand, Harivansh rai bachan. All these have done their part with utmost efforts and have given the gigantic resource of their work which the new generation should be proud of.
